It's best applied twice per season, once in the early spring and again in early August. Apply at a rate of 2.5 lbs per 100 sq ft for each application, broadcasting into the soil around the shrub or tree, or with .5 cups per plant hole at the time of planting.Coverage: New Plantings: 1/2 cup Shrubs Alive! for Trees and Shrubs to planting hole Existing Small Shrubs: broadcast around shrub bed at 2 1/2 lbs Shrubs Alive! for Trees and Shrubs per 100 sq. ft. then scratch into top 2 inches of soil.
